Thermal Oil Heater Parts

Thermal Oil Heater is consist of the following mention parts,

  1. Operations:

The operation of our thermal oil heater is fully automatic. To start up the generator proceed as follows:

  1. Press the fuel oil or fuel Gas push button depending on the fuel you want to use.
  2. Start-up the thermal oil circulation pump.
  3. Press the Fuel oil push button.
  4. Press burner start and the following operation will start automatically.
    1. Ignition programmer start-up
    2. Combustion air fan start-up, Fan lamp, will light up and insertion compressed air solenoid valve of atomization.
  • Combustion air damper opening, controlled by the limit switches inside the servomotor.

Note: after opening, in case the air combustion pressure switch does not sense a sufficient pressure, the ignition programmer will shut-down followed by an acoustic and lightening signal Air Failure.

  1. Combustion air damper closing, controlled by the limit switches inside the servomotor.
  2. Connection of ignition transformer and opening of pilot gas solenoid valves.
  3. Ignition of pilot torch and disconnection of the ignition transformer.
  • Photocell senses the flame.
  • When the burner hold the flame the main modulating gas valve is opened slowly up to its maximum opening position with the help of servo motor because of this burner is fired on high flame.
  1. The air dumper is also being opened with the same modulating motor through a connecting shaft
  2. Servo motor is operated by the temperature controller, according to process temperature set point (open valve upon heat demand).

Note:

In case of the photocell does not sense the pilot flame programmer will stop, followed by a blinking and acoustic signal Flame Failure. In such case silence the hooter by pressing ACK, in this way the blinking signal will become a fix light.

To start the programmer again, press Burner start, Flame Failure signal will turn off and ignition sequence will be repeated.

Automation (start-up) system to control ignition cycle and burner shut down with pre-purge carried out with air damper fully open. Pilot flame ignition and checking, full regulation valve automatic opening. Automatic shut-down in case of safety interlock event.

Flame protection system carried out with ultraviolet scanner, amplifier for automatic shut down of the burner safety valves in case of flame failure.

High / low temperature switches to shut down the burner for stand by purposes.

High temperature switch for safety shut down of the burner in case of very high temperature.

Pilot burner (gas operated) ignition electrode & transformer (5000V)

Safety pressure switches for fuel, hot oil circulation.

Burner interlock for oil circulation pump will not operating.

  1. Before Start-up Checklist:

  • Check Gas line for any leakage.
  • Check oil line for any leakage.
  • Check the surrounding area for the any flame able thing.
  • Check oil level in expansion tank.
  1. Operation Check List:

  • Check oil line & expansion bellows flanges for leakage after burner fired
  • Take oil temperature at inlet after achieve the set point.
  • Take oil temperature at outlet after achieve the set point.
  • Take the exhaust temperature after achieve the set point.
  • Take oil pressure at inlet/outlet startup of oil pump.
  • Take oil pressure at inlet/outlet after achieve the set point.
  • Take current of oil pump motor after achieve the set point.
  • Check the flame color & strength through sight glass.
